About Me

My name is Aaron Mioduszewski. I am SOUL SHIFT SIDEWAYS. I've explored an intense span of human experience in the few short years I've been alive and have seen all the everything and nothing I care to see. I was an drug-crazed, psychedelic nutcase for years. Then I was a preacher-style nutcase for years. Now I just stand well-rounded by brutal self-honesty. Went from being a straight-A student in grade school to expulsion, re-admittance, and "special ed" class by 12th grade, and then through college on the dean's list a couple of times. I've been treated for various mood disorders over the course of my whole life. I've been locked down in the loony bin three more times than I would have liked. I've learned a lot from it all, and yet not nearly enough to help me forget what I know. The only thing that seems to have remained constant in my life is my inexhaustible artistry, which almost nobody cares about, understands, or appreciates. (This is evidenced by the process that is most likely unfolding in the mind of the average reader at this very moment.) I actually enjoy love, peace, and happiness above all other things. But enough about me. My head-songs should do the talking for me. But not for you. Drop me a line if you want and I'll do my best to reply. No, seriously. I'm a real person, not a commercialized corporate web-junkie working on my client's website or something, so I'll try to get back to you. And read my blogs if you want to know any more recent drama. Oh, and buy my music, too, cuz I need support in order to keep my mind from imploding. (Nasty little thing, that.) Peace.
