Music:
Currently listening to Miami Vice Soundtrack, Angels & Airwaves, 30 Seconds To Mars, Jimmy Eat World, also some techno, both slow (Moby, M83, etc.) and fast (Prodigy, Propellerheads, etc.). Also enjoy Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard and other similar CDs, but like everything from classics like Cure, U2, Third Eye Blind to more contemporary bands like Hawthorne Heights, Straylight Run, and everything else except for jazz (blues is OK), country and some really generic pop (read Jessica Simpson, Brittney, etc.) Also like some rap music. Like a couple of Russian bands, T.A.T.U. and DDT.
Movies:
Favorite movies are hero movies like Gladiator and the Last Samurai, but like good dramas too, like Crash, Magnolia, American History X, and even some "chick flicks", like Serendipity, Love Actually and others. Of course LOVE comedy, watch Comedy Central a lot, have all Chapelle and SouthPark episodes, also like SuperTroopers, Office Space and a bunch others. Liked a couple of the musicals. Really liked Phantom of the Operal and Moulin Rouge (you have to sit through about 40 minutes of this one before it gets good), but didn't like Chicago at all.
Television:
Most favorite show by far is Scrubs - it's a terrific blend of comedy and honest insights into people's lives. Acting is great too. Also enjoy anything on Comedy Central, CSI, Overhauled, History Channel, Animal Planet.
Books:
The Bible, any book by Max Lucado - he always gives me a lift when I'm down, the Left Behind series, good fantasy like Eragon and the Eldest by Christopher Paolini (for those of you that just saw the movie, I strongly recommend the book, it's waaaaaay better), most of Agatha Christie's books. Also like some Russian literature. Not reading much at the moment.
