My name is Amber. I'm 29 years old living right outside of Atlantic City. I am a 2nd grade teacher in a very large school district in South Jersey. I am married to a wonderful man named Daniel. We have a dog named Bailey. She's a curious Shiba Inu. I also have a cat who I lovingly refer to as Grandpa Blaze. I've had him for the last 13 years. He's seen me through my awkward teen years, to graduating college, to getting married.

We are getting ready for a big move! My husband has just been accepted to law school in San Antonio, Texas and we will move there in July to start the next phase of our life. (Read my blog - Times they are a Changin' for more)
As for me, I am a simple girl, although I have a heart with depths like the ocean. I love intimate conversation and getting to know what a person is really about. I have a funny side who likes to joke around. I have a serious side. I have a shy side when I meet new people. I have an pursuing side when I see something I want. I have an open minded side in every situation. I have an emotional side~when something moves me I'm not afraid to cry. I feel like I'm a good balance of everything. I try not to let one side overtake the other.
While I am a teacher now, I aspire to write at least two novels before I die and I want to open up my own cafe one day.
