What Superhero Are You?....I'm a person who can NOT stay at one place at one time. I get bored pretty fast...that's why I absolute LOVE to travel evErYwhEre and aNyWhere. I'm a TRAVEL frEak and this makes it the REAL ME. The Philippines (south and central), Malawi, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Bostwana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Bophuthatswana, Amsterdam, Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong are the places my parents, sister, and brothers traveled while we were growing up. My family moved to Africa when I was around 10 years old...and it was the most exciting thing eVER!!! From 4th to 8th grade, I attended Malamulo Missionary elementary school, taught by Miss Cheryl Orser. I graduated 8th grade with Aideen, Tues and Merck. yap, it was just the 4 of us. That fall, we flew to Kenya and attended Maxwell Adventist Academy, which was and still is located in the middle of Nairobi National park. Yes people, I'm a MAXWELLITE! My parents left Africa around my junior year so after that school year, I had to move to the US... for senior year! After a year of CULTURE SHOCK, I graduated from Valley Grande Academy, CLASS 1999!!! For college, I took off to Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, TX. I also took a summer class at Southern Adventist University in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Three years of "HARD work" later, I got my Associate degree in Nursing at SWAU. Finally... September of 2002, I became a registered nurse in the State of Texas. I moved to Central Texas and worked as a pediatric nurse at Children's Hospital of Austin. Now, I'm working as a pediatric critical nurse in an intensive care unit in South Texas. I love my job and it's the first time in my career I do so. It gets very challenging and sometimes heartbeaking, but days can be FUN!!! My lifetime goal is to someday become a Nurse practitioner, or a CRNA. For now, I want to be a NURSE TRAVELER. This have been my passion eversince I started my career. An assigment to HAWAII is my ultimate GOAL!!! I'm not the only nurse in my family...my dad, mom, sister, and both of my brothers are RNs too. My inspiration in life are my parents... they became travel nurses while we were young, and flew us to places where most people can't visit in a lifetime. I'm born to MOVE. I live for ADVENTURE...and I LOVE to eAT :-). To my friends...I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch. You all weren't forgotten. From the Philippines, to Africa and around the USA... I miss you all!........
