Sounds Like: The recordings posted here contain a variety of material.
"Thin Skin" is a vehicle for an older P-bass with flatwounds and some organ.
"No Man" was created with the intention of making something a little on the heavier side with lots of percussion. Thanks to Matt Kent for laying down some percussion.
"Wispy Branches" is a short tune on this recording with Kris Gruda reading it down on guitar.
"Jackals and Arabs" is a tune I wrote in 1995 for a band called Hornet. This recording is a demo arrangement I did in 2007 after learning a little about flamenco. The composition itself is somewhat inspired by a Franz Kafka short story from which I borrowed the title.
"Old Dan" is a little ditty I originally wrote and recorded over 3 distant afternoons. Many thanks to Adam Phillips for lending me his fantastic double neck Danelectro Baritone.
"Mutant Spy" sounds like a tv/movie theme song type composition. For me, the vibe lies somewhere between James bond and the X-men, hence the title.
