About Me

My new challenge to all my friends: Ten years ago or longer , a movie came out about the end of time.. titled "Left Behind". At that time, I wasn't a Christian.. Last night I watched that movie...it had a huge impact on my life; it relates so much to todays times and how close we are to Gods return. I challenge you guys to rent this movie at the video store or check it out at the library and watch it..It is not only crucial but so true to Gods word.. Love you guys.. ~~Nora~~

My Interests

I enjoy singing.. love to karaoke...I love spending time with my beautiful grandbabies.. Camden and Brooklyn.. enjoy sharing time with my friends and family.. and my church family as well.. I joined a wonderful church, Haw River Christian, Haw River, NC..sing in the choir..Come visit us sometime.. you will love it as well....

I'd like to meet:

I think above all.. I would love to meet God face to face so I could tell Him personally.... how much I appreciate Him sparing my life and giving me a second chance at making a difference in this world.....and tell Him how much I love Him!!!

Music:

Some of my favorites: Garth Brooks, my all time favorite. Trisha Yearwood,Lorrie Morgan, LeeAnn Womack, Kellie Pickler, Carrie Underwood, and so many more.. Gospel music...I love Tanya Goodman and Michael Sykes.. what a wonderful pair...love the Happy Goodman Family.. and the Gaithers ..I love it all.. and rock.. my favorites are the 70's bands like Boston, Styx, The Eagles, Chicago, Kansas.. and etc. and I can't forget the Oak Ridge Boys too.. Loved them way back when they were singing Gospel music..I just love all kinds of music to be honest..

Movies:

comedies, sci-fi, suspence..and I love the oldies like Footloose, Dirty Dancing, and Grease.. movies I could watch over and over..I love Passion of the Christ. I watch it almost everyday..just to remind to be thankful everyday for what Christ did for me...

Television:

I don't watch alot of TV

Books:

I love suspence books.. my favorite author is James Patterson.

Heroes:

My heroes are God first of all.. my kids.. and all my friends at Starbucks who were there for me when I was very sick.. coworkers, managers, customers everybody that helped me.. my deepest thanks and love go out to all of you.. You're the best.. and may God bless you all!! I just went back to UNC for a 2 yr Reunion at the Rehab Center where I was after my annerysm and stroke..They had a wonderful banquet for us.. Thanks to all my friends there as well!!! I am so blessed !!!!
