People don't play sports because its fun. Ask any athlete, most of them hate it, but they couldnt imagine their life without it. Its part of them, the Hate/love relationship. its wat they live for. They live for the practices, parties, cheers, long bus rides, invitationals, countless pairs of diff. types of shoes, water, Gatorade, & coaches u hate but appreciate. They live for the way it feels when you beat the team next to you by 1 pt. in overtime, & you know those 2 extra sprints you ran in practice were worth it. They live for the way you become a family with your team, they live for the countless songs you sing in your head when your running ALL those suicides. They live for the competition, they live for the friends, the practices, the memories, the pain, its who they are. It's who we are. WE ARE ATHLETES....
This year alotta ppl will think that ive changed... but that wont be the case... the case will be that i aint puttin up with the BS nomore... its time to let some ppl go not that i want to but i have no other choice... i once heard if you tell someone to stop doin somethin thats hurtin you and they continue to do it they dont really care about you and those are the ppl you have to let go but those ones that try to change and do somethin about it you hold on to. you have 3 types of friends... ones that are like roots, ones that are like branches, and the other like leaves... i need some friends that are like roots that will help me grow no matter their or my circumstance... leaves blow away and branches are easy to break... the older i get it seems like the more immature ppl get... so its up to you to decide which friend you will be... the ball is in your court... anything else you wanna know just get at me... ya dig
