I've been writing songs / performing as a featured vocalist for many years and I've really enjoyed the anonymity I've had writing for other acts and artists. Although I've had chart success as a songwriter, I still harboured the desire to make my own record. I finally decided to put pen to paper last summer, the result being my debut album 'Both Sides Of The Sun'. I hope you enjoy it. The album was recorded at the renowned Sawmills Studio in Fowey; its walls truly resonate with the sound of the many classic albums that have been recorded there and it made for the perfect creative setting.
I'm inspired by my own life experiences / those of others around me and I guess my main influences are the classic songwriters of the 70's. Laura Nyro, Todd Rundgren, Carly Simon etc.
