I am a quarter of a century old, a single mother, and not yet college graduate. Some would say that encompasses me. They are wrong. I am so much more and everyone that really knows me, knows that. I have learned that you can spend a long time with someone without realizing who they really are and without them knowing you, at all. I have learned that the same man that professes his love for me can be mean, hateful, and be horribly degrading. I have learned that overnight people can change into someone I don't recognize and that scares me. So, "I am going to let the chips lay where they are at and take it for what it was. I am still going to look back and remember the great and memorable times. I am going to remember how low I was when the relationship started and how strong I was when it ended. I am going to be grateful for all the lessons that I have learned and the friendships that I gained from the relationship." Next time I will take things slower. After all, if it's real love, I believe it's worth waiting and fighting for. I have broken hearts and definitely had my heart broken. True love is a great thing (even when it hurts) and I hope everyone I know has a chance to experience it. I am not capable of being alone. I should not give relationship advice. I love my friends and family and would do anything for them. They are my life and I am theirs. Nothing anyone says about me will ever change that. I have a few GREAT friends. They are really just my extended family. Their children call me "Aunt Bridget" and my daughter knows them as her aunties. I am proud of the people I consider my true friends. Recently I have learned that some people are not who they seem to be and I am trying to take it in stride. I have also recently met some people that could potentially fall into this category. One of my biggest pet peeves is someone who passes judgment on people or things they know nothing about. ON A LIGHTER NOTE...I am in flip flops most of the time. I love sun dresses. I hardly ever blow dry my hair or wear make up. I AM FUN! I am social. I'm loud and I talk A LOT. I am opinionated and usually speak my mind which causes me to stick my foot in my mouth quite often. When you meet me you either love me or hate me and that's fine. I only tell you what I want to about myself (some of the people in my life hate it but after all, it's my life). When I drink I tell my own secrets but keep others. Margaritas are great. Drinking them with good friends is even better. Sunday brunch is my favorite. I'm clumsy. I am a nice girl until you give me a reason not to be. I love to laugh even though I don't feel like I have been doing enough of it lately. I'm easily impressed and disappointed. I can be cheered up with ice cream. I am a chocoholic. I don't buy junk food or soda but if it were here I would consume it. I don't know the meaning of the word moderation. I am a quick learner except when it comes to life then I am a slow learner. I'll try anything once. I want to learn to fly and scuba dive. If you are my friend, there is an open door policy (except recently it's been locked...so knock). You can always stop by for dinner or to crash on the bean bag. Oh, and I love Dr. Seuss too.YOU DON'T WANT TO TALK TO ME UNTIL AFTER I HAVE COFFEE IN THE MORNING!
