I've recently went "over the hill" at the age of 40. No, I don't feel any older or had a hard time with it. I did get a surprise birthday from my sister.I have two children, age 9 & 12. I also have 3 dogs, shih-tzu, yorkie, and a shepherd. Oh, I forgot to mention our cat, whom we have had for 9 yrs.I'm a full time single parent and very much enjoy being divorced. No, not for running around but just the enjoyment of not having to take care of another person. I am currently in a relationship with someone who can take care of himself.I'm very independent and feel that women should know how to handle things on their own. It is nice to share things with the person you love but not so much that you rely on them for everything.
