Northern Alliance

Founded in Stockholm 2001, by four non-Swedish musicians who have the same musical goals and the fantasy to express themselves by free-improvisation.Band members’ different backgrounds take music to totally new, surprising ways through the jungle of contemporary music, jazz, world music, folk and avant-garde pop.We have played concerts in Stockholm (Fylkingen), Berlin, Trondheim, Helsinki, Turku, Siippo, Rennebu and Kleive. We’ve done mostly totally improvised concerts, but have even played composed music by the band members, such as the concept "Stikk meg". We have also done perfomances with a group of sweedish dancers, among others Markus Doverud.These days a new album is out on the German label Phonector!
