Tom Ashe is a professional trumpet player, originally from the UK, but currently based in Rio de Janeiro. Tom started playing with big bands at the age of 14, and has since worked for a host of top flight professional orchestras in the UK including the Nelson Riddle Tribute Orchestra, The Glenn Miller Tribute Orchestra, Robin Jones's "King Salsa" Orchestra and The National Youth Jazz Orchestra. He has also provided instrumental sessions for a variety of UK recording artists, and his trumpet playing featured on Just Jack's UK top 40 hit "Glory Days".
Tom moved to Rio de Janeiro in October 2008 and he now plays regularly around the city.
Tom Ashe é um trompetista profissional, originalmente do Reino Unido, mas correntemente morando no Rio de Janeiro. Tom començou tocar com big bands de jazz quando ele tinha 14 anos, e trabalhou com muitas orquestras profissionais no RU inclusive “the Nelson Riddle Tribute Orchestraâ€, “the Glenn Miller Tribute Orchestra†e a orquestra de jazz nacional de jovems da inglaterra. Ele gravou com vários artistas do RU, e ele tocou da canção de sucesso “Glory Days†de Just Jack.
Tom mudou para o Rio de Janeiro em Outubro/2008 para conhecer e tocar música brasileira.
