Profile Generatorbeing an indie dj for more then 15 years would be worth to tell you more about then that's space in here. all i want to say is that it included everything i never expected while starting: smaller venues on 3 floors 6m each, afthershows in clubs for a lot of bands i like as well as on a festival and of course ... travelling a lot. the opportunity to do a radio show finally answered the question i was asking me at that time: how to stop djing without losing the status of being a 'missionary', sharing all the impressions i had listening to songs and becoming friends with people while doing it.
the '45minutes' radio show went on air early 1996 and was made for people in and around leipzig, germany. it's founder pixie already moved to a bigger town and from that time on uwe was taking care of the show, renamed the former 'indigo' to '45minutes' and expanded to 1h each week, every thursday 9pm. as you realize the meaning got lost by that but uwe kept it's name and and at the end of 2004 i was joining him. inbetween the show is done by him and me and we take care of all the stuff and bands we'd like the people to know. uwe is the most into scandinavien pop person i ever met and his shows mirror a wide range of indie pop music from northern europe. my part is to care about the rest of the world but, to be honest, great britain got the main bit of it as the number of bands growing up there is enormus..
it was, it was, it was ... i'm not doing the radio show anymore but i'm still looking for getting in touch with the good people
