Hum The Drone creates an air of anticipation, with their raw emotion and thought-provoking messages. Each song will take you on a journey filled with explosive, melodic, hard-hitting breakdowns infused with jazz and soul. This inspired music might be just what rock needs, as the current scene is flooded with “broken records†of recycled melodies and questionable talent. Hum The Drone is a five-piece ensemble from Portland, Oregon, and it has the basic rock components: guitars, bass, vocals, and percussion. But these traditional elements don’t limit or define Hum The Drone’s original sound. This sound comes from a patient songwriting process, with a vital focus on musical integrity, passion and message. Each member contributes, as the group brings its music to life. The music may be hard to describe, but it’s surprisingly easy to listen to.
