About Me

So now comes the part where I explain myself to you. Well lets get this ball rolling... I am 26 years old (yes I am getting old), I live in Chico, and I have been in the military for 7 years. I have a beautiful 2 year old dog named Bodie, who is my pride and joy. Most of my free time is either in the gym, or working around my house. I also am a major shopper so buying useless crap is like my cocaine.Well now that I am back from Iraq, I can really get into the details of explaining myself a little more. I am a mixture of a homebody and outgoing person. I love to snowboard, go to the bars with friends and also just hangout at my house and relax. I have my own house in Chico, however Bodie thinks it is his house and I just share it. I can be a little materialistic; however I am part of a rare breed of guy that can be called..nice. I am extremely proud that I have never, ever cheated in a relationship, and that I can be a hopeless romantic. I also like that I have always been told I have a great heart. I try to give to others and I will probably be the most understanding person that you will ever meet. That is me; pretty basic, but I know who I am and I am always true to myself; a great guy who is way to in touch with his inner child. I always say live each moment the best you can, tomorrow you might not be so fortunate.

My Interests

I love spending time in the gym, I always believed that Soldiers need to look good in uniform. I also read a lot and play a few games on my XBox 360. Aside from the norm that I think everybody does, I am also an avid snowboarder.

I already met her!! It is hard to believe but I actually found a girl who is everything I dreamed my perfect woman would be and more!

Music:

When it comes to music I have a very eclectic taste, there isn't much that I do not like. But if you are glad that the answer was not vague at all, let me elaborate just for you. Bands I enjoy: Journey, The Eagles, Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, The Scorpions, The Beatles, Aerosmith, Lostprophets, Keane, Floater, Live, Dave Matthews Band, McFly, Acceptance, Snow Patrol, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Vertical Horizon, Pearl Jam, Rascal Flatts, 3 Doors Down, Bush, Staind, Nickelback, AFI, Default, Theory of a Deadman, Tantric, Wilco, Remy Zero and the list goes on and on. I like country, yeah I said it, I was raised on George Strait. Hip-Hop is always great for cruisin and workouts; plus it is just ballin.

Movies:

I am a huge movie buff, plus I have this bad habit of getting all excited over some new releases. My favorite movie though, Rocky IV. Nothing better than Rocky going 15 rounds with Ivan Drago!

Television:

I only watch a few TV shows, I cannot stand reality TV but I do enjoy watching Family Guy (my favorite), Smallville, The OC, One Tree Hill, Scrubs, Nip/Tuck, Reno 911, Reba, and Chappelle's Show (RIP)... width="425" height="350" ..

Books:

I mostly read novels concerning current affairs and politics. I haven't read fiction in so long, I almost forget what it feels like to just read a story. I always believed that if I was going to read it was going to be for the purpose of expanding my knowledge and to better myself as a person intellectually.

Heroes:

SFC Isaac Lawson, one of the greatest men I have ever met and the man who will always be a hero to me. My other heroes have got to be the men and women who put on a uniform and defend our country. Though I wear the uniform I do not consider myself a hero nor heroic. It is amazing the courage that one Soldier will display for another to defend or save their life. It makes me proud just to be able to have something in common with these people. The man upstairs, he is more than just a hero, and as corny as it may sound my mother, she has struggled so much through life and has come out the best person that I have ever met.
