A product of South Carolina,Soulja Ed aka Eddy Kool has been handling his own in the music world every since late 2002. Eventhough the name has changed Eddy still remains the same "You know the reason that I decided to change my name was because honestly it sounds good when it rolls off the tounge, and also I want to be the Gold Standard example for my label Illest Intertainment, I wanna share my musical knowledge and help my artist out whenever they need guidance. The world first heard Eddy Kool when he was known as Soulja Ed for an upstart label Illest Intertainment back in 1999, when the CEO of ILLEST Intertainment Tha Unknown Soulja began the first of 2 tours of duty in Iraq, Eddy Kool wanted to keep himself fresh. So through a mutual friend he met AJ Case of Silver Sun Productions and continued to keep the ball rollin' " I learned alot during my time there, it really helped my stage presence during shows like how to get the people into you and just give 110%". Eddy was featured on numerous releases at Silver Sun, so he took that momentum and decided that he wanted to release an album of his own so that that the masses wouldn't think that he was just a Cameo King. Back in 2006 The Unknown Soulja was back from serving our country and was ready to go full blast with Illest Intertainment...and the first one that he resigned was Eddy Kool. " I told him when he came back, he knew where to find me, the next hing you know i got a legit contract in the mail and the rest is history...Eddy Kool has returned home to Illest Intertainment". Since then he has done 2 shows at Plymouth State University and numerous other venues along the east coast. Set to drop his solo Debut album "Many Moods" set to drop he still is working at a feverish pace to keep his buzz going. "I just wanna say thanks to everybody that played a part in me getting to where i am today, those that supported me, those that have been waiting for the day that my solo debut drops and everone that kept it 100 since day one AJ Case at Silver Sun Productions for lettin me do my thang, and The Whole Double "I" Fam for being the most hardworking and comsistent Indie Record label in THE SOUTH.
