I graduated with my BA in English and am currently working to complete my MA in education. I am now teaching at Blue Bird Day School and I love my job! I have recently relocated to Washington D.C. D.C. is fabulous, but life is always a mystery and it doesn't always work out the way one intends. There is so much to do here and so much culture and every day I learn something new about my own country and many others. It is a big change going from Pueblo, CO to Washington D.C.!
I do believe life should be about experience; should be lived each day as if it were your last. . .I know that being a teacher will not make me a lot of money, but that is okay because materialism is really not my thing. I would prefer to shop at a flee market than a mall! I believe if one has enough money to buy ridiculous over the top vehicles or homes or anything that well you really don't need, has enough money to actually do something good with it. Sometimes I feel like I was born during the wrong era. ... I just love having fun and experiencing everything that life has to offer. . life is too short to worry. Take this advice: life just happens so live it. . . .
