Silence is ringing in my ears, it happened at around 8:40pm officer, there was no way to stop them, they came in and just tore the place apart. They came, they saw, they conquered, all hail Karmalener. The metal is first rate, the vocals go full bore and the lyrics manage to avoid being sacrificed as the play gets harder. Drummer Adam shakes the floorboards with his double bass pedal rhythms. A ritualistic frenzy of hair, axe wielding metal heads that play too fast and too loud for mere mortals to comprehend. Over the top I know, but then so is metal. Good singer, good backing, epic but not pretentious, all the ingredients in short that make a good band.
