Chello

Marcellus “Chello” Davis is a versatile actor/comedian who made his comic debut on Black Entertainment Television’s (BET’s) Comic View. Since that time, the Miami native has performed for 106 & Park audiences, the National Rock the Vote Tour in six major cities and was featured in the Best of Comic View. Chello was a featured on-air personality for Magic 101.3 in Gainesville, FL where he also produced and promoted entertainment events as CEO of Laughing At Ya Comedy. The originator of “Respect My Funny,” Chello appears as host, emcee and comedian at numerous comedy clubs, invitational step shows, fashion shows and Black History Month events throughout Florida. As an actor, he appeared in leading roles in Miami Dade College theatrical productions of Feiffer’s People, The Grapes of Wrath, Lady Day and Red, Hot and Cole under the direction of John Pryor. Chello began his entertainment career at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center in Liberty City at age five. You have to "Respect His Funny"!!
