I'm fun, funny, want to have fun, and might worry if you aren't having as much fun as I am. I drink, used to smoke, gave up Taco Bell, work for a living, and like to finish off the day talking to a good friend. I consider myself focused, caring, witty, a good listener, accepting of change and challenges, and patient enough to share my thoughts and feelings without fearing criticism. I have had great friends, few lovers, MANY career changes, my ups and downs with family, but feel I have mastered my life and way of thinking to benefit from the outcome in each category. I have learned that I am in it for the long haul, and I'm in it for myself. I can't fall back on anybody or anything, because EVERYTHING in life DOES CHANGE. Some friends come and go, some lovers call back, a relative reaches out and wants to start over, but these are not grounds for living. My life will be what I want it to be. It always has been, but I am a little more aware of what I can do with my life, that will affect me and me alone. In the past I used to consider all of my surrounding elements before embracing change, but that's over. I'm willing to open my arms to a new friend, a handsome new lover, and an intrigued relative, but I want them to know that I will be who I want to be. They can run with me, and I can welcome their life in coordination with mine, or they can admire the free spirit I have become, and let me fly... My Interests

I LOVE my job! I have been a make-up artist for 3.5yrs now, and I still get goosebumps everytime I am about to apply color. It's so awesome! I really connect with my clients, and feel I have found my niche. This is my career, I'll never leave it!In general: I have an odd obsession with cars. I have trouble with names and faces but I never forget a car. I will associate someone's face with what they drive. For example, my friend Bettina, if I did not know her name she would be simply, "Galant Chick". Too bad my name would be "That car I wanted in 5th grade Prelude guy".I will camp if need be, and I LOVE to go on a nice long float trip... Me, good friends, 2 cases of canned brewskis, and a weekend of laughs, burps, and campfire stories....

I love all eighties music. I can handle just about anything. But techno seems to be the one that becomes tiresome very quickly for me. Seems like the gays love techno. Maybe that is the issue I have. Gays love Techno. I don't care for most Gays. Therefore, I don't care very much for Techno...

Movies:

Currently "Love Actually" is the movie pick of the month. I saw "Brokeback Mountain" and I thought it was ignant. I guess I stand alone in that opinion. Maybe the reasons for me not liking it were because I was with a group of Yahoos that made noise and commented so typically and rude, and didn't share ANY popcorn, and let me sit in that chair and nearly wet myself.. I had to pee SO BAD! I am blind and couldn't see to get out of the theater, and my "friends" would wonder outside for smoke breaks, and let me stew. At the end of the film I was thinking, "OK Heath, yes I am shocked you have the shirt, but let's put it away and fade to a close...AND SCENE!"

Television:

Brothers and Sisters! Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anantomy (I was thinking that the Code Black episode should have been a series finale, and the whole hospital could have blown up, how cool would that be?) Currently reading "Me Talk Pretty One Day"... I am told that I tell stories like Dave Sedaris.... We'll see about that.

Heroes:

My late Nana Norma is my heroine. This woman was the glue that held us all together. She was the type to curse you out just to scare reality into you. But she loved me, as I still love her. I miss her. She was the only person I ever knew that never doubted me, and had all the faith in the world in me. I better do good, and make Nana proud!
