Jamison Productions is born on Kailua-Kona, Big island of Hawaii early 2004. The purpose in the beginning was to just show the talents we've got with skateboarding in K-Town, and for fun. But now I'm working my way up to professional ranking, able to film just about anything, and edit & produce videos.
J. Productions actually got a team, its made up with close friends and whoever rips in Kona, and we update about the team every month. Anyways, It is also made because I (James) really like filming and entertainment, so I started this production company to teach myself and learn from the basics, and now I am pretty good at it. As an amateur filmmakers, I've already got good feedback from some local filming school leader and other filmmakers.
The projects I've completed so far are:
-(2004)Filming a pro tennis tournament in Waikoloa, Hawaii
-(2005)Not Right (running time: 45 mins), my first full length skateboard film, its base on what me and my friends enjoy to do and what is "not right" about the world outside of skateboarding and my friends funny acts.
-(2006)Weekend in the Wilderness, a short film for people who are interested on seeing how parts of the wilderness are like here on the Big Island, and skateboarding at volcano skate park. This video is included with 3 bonus features which two promotes the NOT RIGHT video and Up coming 2nd full length video.
My current projects are:
-my second film, base on an adventure trip to Asia last summer (2006) with my friends and I.
-My third film (not named, and currently just an idea), its going to be the second Kailua Kona, Hawaii skateboard video made, featuring skating after NOT RIGHT (since 2004).
