I am here for Friends

About Me

LOLOLOLOLOLOL. I is Meg. :B

Hullo there.
I hate my name; it's nauseatingly common and I hate more or less everyone else I know with this name.
It sucks rear end in a major way.
But it's still better than my middle name, which is Germaine. I'm not even kidding when I say that if my parents had gone and named me that, you'd be calling me by the enchanting nickname of "Germ".
But enough of that. I like to think that I'm a fairly average teenager; I love music and movies and hanging with my friends. I'm seventeen years old and have spent my entire life in the Montreal area. I am also an avid reader, and adore writing stories and even essays. I've also been known to jot down a poem when the notion grips me. I'm a self-proclaimed fantasy junkie and computer sloth, and am quite possibly the biggest dork on the face of the earth.
I have a very limited social life. I don't do drugs, drink, or smoke. Meeting new people usually makes me uneasy. Hell, talking to old friends makes me feel awkward as fuck. Bah.
- I am prone to flights of fancy.
- I am plump.
- I can't stand the heat; sweater weather is my favourite.
- I love to bake. Making people feel better with sugary food gives me the warm 'n fuzzies.
- I have very poor hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
- Sports are my anti-happy.
- Cigarettes are disgusting.
- I like green very much.
- I think money is stupid.
- I want to go to Ireland one day.
- I think a guy's eyes are his most attractive feature. I'll moon over a guy with pretty eyes, even if the rest of him is repugnant.
- Really buff people frighten me, as do skeletal people. Pokeable people are awesome.
- I can recite V's monologue at will.
- If you are one of my real friends, know that I absolutely adore you.

My Blog

I have succombed, despite my better judgement.

That’s right. I’ve officially jumped onto a bandwagon and have no intention of jumping off anytime soon.I feel kind of guilty and pleased about it at the same time.Bah.Anyway. I admit it; ...

Leave it up to interpretation, I suppose.

Very strange dream last night. I don't understand it at all, and it kinda weirded me out. I'll post what I can remember of it. If any of you people who read my blog are good at dream interpretation, f...

Success?

Kind of an update on a previous blog, the one about me coming up with a plan for a birthday present for a friend. I got the present done and gave it to him, but I'm not sure if he actually liked it. H...

Remember, remember, the fifth of November!

Yeeeaaah.Just thought I'd remind people that today is Guy Fawkes Day, since absolutely no one at school seemed to realize it. I'm very disappointed; makes me glad that I refrained from donning my mask...

As thought by lovable serial killers.

I know; two blogs in one day. Craaazy. Anyway. Just a quote from an awesome book: Darkly Dreaming Dexter. It's the book that a show -- unexpectedly called "Dexter" -- is based on. It's a great read, a...

Huzzah, a new goal!

Well, I have a brand-spanking-new goal. Yes, I do indeed. I am currently lacking funds (to put it mildly), and have a close friend's birthday coming up in just over two weeks. If he reads this, I'm su...
