The Aimcriers

About Me

Learn something !
The Aimcriers have existed for about five years in some incarnation or another. They started in Arizona with a few different musicians, the main one being Johnny Aimcrier.
Johnny was in a few different bands when he lived in Scottsdale: Postvale Road, The Jet Set Joules, The Calamities, Red Skirt Fleshman, and The Oh Be Joyfuls. After deciding that he had one too many 120 degree summers under his belt, he packed up his bags and moved to Michigan.
Johnny was able to keep the name, and has recruited some talented players to further the message in the Great Lake State. His brother-in-law, Billy P., moved to Michigan from New Jersey and has added something special in the area of piano and Hammond organ. Billy used to play with The Wannibees and backed tons of jazz musicians in Manhattan.
Back in December of 2007, The Aimcriers added Andy Luce on bass and backing vocals, and are currently looking for someone to play drums.
The Aimcriers can play in any situation: they've set up Marshall half stacks and played loud and electric, and they've set up trap kits and played acoustically. They play mainly original music with some obscure covers peppered in.
