Making his debut on Don Diva magazine mixtape Streetdwellaz Streetz Most Wanted PT.2 in 2002 this 23 year old Rapper/CEO was born on December 21, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in Brownsville Houses in a two bedroom apartment with seven people living together was not easy. He quickly became street smart learning his way around town, from being exposed to drugs, and shootings at an early age. Forced to adapt to his environment he maneuvered around wisely and manage to survive the odds. At age 10 his mother moved her family over to another section in Brooklyn called Crown Heights. Living around the same poverty environment Ty-Betta continues his journey playing sports and going to school balancing the streets and school together making him a true leader. He realizes he wanted to pursue music seriously in the 11th grade when he found himself rhyming and battling the top cats in his high school. Quickly making a name for himself he grabbed the attention of the seniors who were the respected artist at that time and wanted to do a talent show together. That day of the show he felt something he never felt before an emotion and well received respect that was unexplainable and wanted to pursue this as his career. After high school he continues his education by going to college where he met his friend and future partner Kenneth BigMan Rodgers. Now these two came together with the same vision building an empire Antartika Records with talented artist planning to take over the industry bringing great music to the game. He is also a great leader by showing the streets its cool to get an education by having a college degree but still intact with the hood. With Ty-betta not having anyone guiding him on his journey in the music business and not having any help, its all on him. His plan was interning with major companies and to network, hopefully being able to break through having others see his vision. He could have easily gotten discourage by people selling him dreams, and going on eight different interviews with top labels, magazines, and radio stations and all saying no but he continued his journey finally landed an internship with DEF JAM & SONY URBAN. He grinded hard with these two lables from traveling with them and learning the ins' and outs' of the business. Now making appearances on numerous mixtapes and Whatz Really Hood DVD Vol.9 he stirred up a lil buzz. Now with a little son he's not taking no for an answer & knowing the meaning of struggle, he is even more determined and driven to get what he wants and show others in his community dreams do come true.
