Simply put, it's an acoustic show with a full band feel. For almost a decade Barrett Baber has been entertaining crowds across the Natural State and beyond. First as a solo act and then as an acoustic duo and now as an acoustic duo with the occasional djembe thump.Widely regarded as one of the best acoustic cover acts in the region, Baber and his trustry sidekick Colby Waggoner drop a wide range of acoustic covers on crowds mixing in the essential orginals. "We try to take cover songs and make them our own" says Baber. "Any jackass can play some Lynard Skynard song exactly the way they do it on the record and it'll sound great. The beauty of rocking acoustically is that it forces us to figure out how to make people say 'wow, they really do that one in a cool way', We enjoy that challenge."Baber is currently working on new material for his next recording project and fans eagerly await its release in 2008.
