What drives BOJ PRODUCTIONS...
I understand the importance of getting a record of your special event onto video which can be enjoyed time and time again. I aim to provide affordable videography services at a quality you will find comparable to the higher-priced competition.
My goal is to assist with producing your project for DVD authoring. The completed work may include extensive editing, creative backgrounds, menus, fun video clips, demos for advertisements, etc. Prices vary depending on what is needed. With your specifics, I can help create a great DVD compilation of your personal home videos and even create slideshows of your digital photos with optional background music of your choice.
Some events which my past clients had me film, edited, and produce onto DVDs are: private house parties, birthday celebrations, weddings, public announcements, commercials, video blogs, baptisms, personal sports highlights (transferred from their collection of home videos), or even just a transfer of raw footage (without any special editing) onto a DVD for better preservation of their precious memories. I am able to provide up to two pro-digital 3CCD SONY video cameras to film your project. If you are a motorcycle rider and need a CHASECAM, I am M1-licensed, equipped with a helmetcam (front or rear-facing), and own an 1100cc cruizer - ready to follow or lead during your road-cruize**. Want to integrate digital still photos from your event into your edited video? We can do that! Do you need guerilla-style photography managed by a person who knows how to frame a shot? I provide a high-end, no-hassle pro-digital still camera and able to keep a steady hand while on the field. Need a 30-second commercial put together? Or how about a quick blog or video-bio you can post online via YouTube and embedded onto your MYSPACE page? I can help!
**Special pricing & liability contract applies for Motorcycle-CHASECAM work. Safe and legal road-cruising only. Sorry, NO STUNT-CHASES (I'm not trying to get killed while filming if you crash in front of me.)**
NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE: $175

About BOJ Productions...
BOJ Productions was created in 1991. Initially, it was a tag used during preservation of earlier personal home videos with family and friends. Videos were edited in analog format (VHS to VHS editing) - back when PC-editing was not readily available or affordable. My very first videocamera was purchased by my dad in 1985. Videography became a hobby which never got old. I have a digital still-camera & videocamera readily available to use almost everywhere I go - even while riding my motorcycle! And as the years pass, I do my best to keep up with the times by updating the equipment I use.
Certain perspectives on recording an event stood out and extended family members took an interest. Eventually, friends of family members were in the mix with hiring me to do videography for them. Also an active member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild) since 2002, I have over 10 years of on-stage as well as on-camera experience. I believe my training and ability in this field dramatically contributes to my work in videography. BOJ Productions is here to help you complete your project.
Profile on Boj the Actor?
I've been acting since I was four years old. I'm passionate about photography/videography & acting is the main thing for me. I believe this is what also gives me an edge over the competition with producing your videos. My experience on-stage and with professionals in the industry has made me more aware of certain styles and key points in creating something for you which may result in a great video presentation - enjoyable to watch over and over again. I come from a family with a background in the entertainment & marketing industry. My dad was a stage actor, my mom was a drummer in a band back in her days, and my grandparents owned an advertising agency (YORE Advertising) during the time we were still living in Manila, Philippines. So I guess it all rubbed off on me.
Most of my acting experience is from years of live, on-stage performances. I officially went professional and became an active member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild) in October of 2002. I've had the pleasure of working under producers, directors, and alongside principal actors & crew on the set of major motion pictures and TV shows filmed in the Bay Area. One I'm most proud to have been a part of was the Wachowski Brother's production of "The Matrix Reloaded" where I worked as a Stand-In Actor for Actor, Randall Duk Kim - The Keymaker. Most recent print-ad commercial was for PG&E (featured in the San Francisco-Phillipine Newspaper - Sep. 8-14 in 2004 - Year 44, Issue 4,) - Casting by www.BEAUBONNEAUCASTING.com and photos c/o photographer, Christian Peacock of www.CHRISTIANPEACOCK.com.

Other Personal Stuff about me...
Folks that know me on a personal level say I'm a bit of a work-a-holic. My only explanation for that? I find it hard to allow myself to vege-out unless I know I deserved it. I like seeing results from the hard work I've done - whatever it may be. I don't like rush my work either. I stay as efficient as possible but half-steppin' on anything isn't really my forte. I strongly believe that nothing in life comes for free - especially if you want to be comfy. Ya gotta get off that couch to earn it. I work hard to be where I am. Smart labor is preferred but hear me on this: manual labor doesn't scare me. If anything, I find satisfaction from the adrenaline alone. But don't get it mixed up: I DON'T WORK FOR FREE - I have great pride in what I do and everybody's gotta make a living. Making new friends makes it all worth it! The ultimate reward for me is the journey traveled during the process.
My fears? Mostly, I fear missing out on any great opportunity. I have this urge to learn things which I am not familiar with. I try to understand what it is that scares me and I do my best to manage it.
Over all, I'm a nice guy, a very hardworker, and committed to achieving set goals. I'm respectful to others unless given a reason not to be. I have dreams, but I'm a realist - we only get as much as we put into life.
Let's get to work!
