I am first and foremost a Christian. I believe, as the Bible says, that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty of the sins of the elect, and the only possible way that anybody can get to Heaven (again, as the Bible says, not me but God), is by accepting the free gift of Christ's death on our behalf. No one can work their way into Heaven and no one gets there by simply being a good person and expecting it. Salvation is a free gift of the Lord and even though it blows our minds, that is the nature of grace. It's free and undeserved. Since God is perfect and perfectly holy His grace is limitless. Thats why it blows our minds because it is so undeserved. However, it is in all reality the only true possible way that any individual, no matter how good or bad, can have eternal life. This is all from the Bible and not from me. The Bible also says that all men are without excuse so if you are reading this you must decide, eternal life with God, or eternal life without Him. Believe me you do not want the latter. God gives us what we want, eternal life with, or without Him. It is your choice. I will soon write up a blog giving Bible references, chapter and verse, for you to understand, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this message is the only plan for salvation taught in the Bible.
