About Me

I guess you could call me a "well-rounded" person or a jack-of-all-trades master-of-none type person. I have varied interests but my friends, family and my relationship with God come first. I am easily satisfied and enjoy the simple things in life. I could stare at a sunset or watch it snow or rain for hours but I also love being competitive and physically engaged in sports or anything that gets my adrenaline pumping! My Interests

Jesus Christ is my first love, basketball, volleyball & most other sports (I like the physical activeness and the element of fun and competition mixed together!), movies are a favorite passtime, reading, writing, and especially my nieces and nephews (joys of my heart!) I love the country (nature, fresh air, outdoors) and anything that connects me more deeply with my friends and family! Talking about Brazil or attempting to speak Portuguese also really gets me excited because I lived there for 2 years and still absolutely LOVE that place!!

I'd like to meet:

I love to laugh and make people smile so someone that helps me to enjoy life more and smile through life even in difficult circumstances. But mostly, I want to meet people who love the Lord, or would like to know more about Him, and who are interested in making a new friend or staying in touch with an old one!!

Music:

I love so much it's too hard to narrow it down! Here's a few though, um... Martina McBride, Ella Fitzgerald (or anything Big Band really), Todd Agnew, KT Tunstall, The Fray, Nichole Nordeman, Evanescence, Josh Groban, Bon Jovi... told you it was a mix :)

Movies:

Hoosiers, The Importance of Being Earnest, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy... so much more

Television:

I was addicted to Alias before they ended the show. Sniffle... Now it's Survivor and Grey's Anatomy

Books:

Hinds Feet on High Places, Pride and Prejudice (or anything by Jane Austen really), You Are Special, and The Missing Piece Meets the Big O... the Bible of course :)

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, of course because without Him I would be nothing, my mom for everything she's done for me, my sister for who she is and how she's raising her family...
