I think for those who know me, my more obvious interests that I have are music and writing. I am a four time published poet and a musician of various instruments totaling about 7. I use to participate in band, orchestra, theater, and choir.
My favorite sport to play is basketball (I hate being a spectator, but I love to play the game!) My next favorite sport is volleyball. I also enjoy camping, kayaking, horseback riding, swimming, and traveling.
My all time favorite place to be is the beach. Not only is it beautiful and relaxing, but there are so many fun things to do there!
I am an artistic person by nature. I don't just limit the term to pictures, photography, paintings, and sculptures but also broaden my thinking to include performing arts and music, nature, the written word, and of abstract thinking/thoughts. Though I do not have talents in all aspects of this area, I do have a great wide-sense appreciation.
My all time favorite thing in the world is being a mother. Yes, it is alot of work -and I mean ALOT. But, I haven't experienced anything as rewarding and fullfilling as being a mother.

Music:
I have probably the most diverse music taste of anyone I know. I enjoy R&B, rap, contemporary, pop, classical, opera, country, alternative, rock, oldies, 80's rock, grunge, regae, Latin, Christian. And now thanks to my husband's constant choice of music, I now enjoy hard rock and some metal (believe me, that was much to my surprise.) I'm sure I missed a few. Just about the only music I can think of that I don't like is polka, trance, and techno!
My musical weakness: I'm a sucker for a good love song or monster ballad!

Favorite movies off the top of my head; hmmm. Underworld, Vanhelsing, Troy, The Lord of the Rings series, Gothika, The Wedding Date, Without a Paddle, Ghost, Catch and Release, Pearl Harbor, Hide and Seek, The Matrix series, The X-Men series, Electra, The Gladiator, Dances with Wolves, Flatliners, The Last Samuri. The oldest movies I can think of that I use to like a LONG, LONG time ago was RAD and the Flight of the Navigator, just for giggles.
Television:
I don't watch much TV so no favorites here! I'm more apt to watch a movie if I want to watch something. Though I've started to like Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and House, and Law & Order SVU when I catch them on TV. Basically I tend to like shows that are unpredictable that have unexpected twists. I like to be surprised!
Books:
I only read to broaden my horizons/learn something useful. I'm a mother of small children so I don't get much time to read -so again no favorites here! Although since I'm a writer I've realized I need to read more to observe different/new writing styles and improve my work! There's always room for improvement in everything ya do!!!I think there should be a section here for favorite video games too. Anyone agree?
Heroes:
I don't believe in heroes. Everyone is human and prone to error, so I truly believe no one is better than anyone else. We're all different and have our own mark to make on this world. We all have strengths and weaknesses, who am I to judge and raise someone up on a pedestal and make an idol/hero out of? Ah, but that's all so serious! Just here to have fun people!
