About Me

I am living in the town I grew up in - Fort McMurray. It's a nice place and it is familiar. I left Ottawa in November 2004 and found love a month later, even though I swore off men for a year! We are getting married September 2006 in the town we both grew up in. I hope everyone is as lucky in love as we have been!

My Interests

I like going to the movies (I can't say no to movie popcorn!), red wine, painting, cooking, dark chocolate, people with a sense of humor, ancient history, different cultures, travelling the world (I would LOVE to travel to Italy!), scientific discoveries, nutrition, fitness, baby animals (so cute!), listening to my favorite CDs over and over *s*, hanging out with friends, ect.

I'd like to meet:

Descent people who aren't pretentious.

Music:

Linkin Park, Silverchair, Evanescence, Delierium, some rap, electronic/dance are okay. Certain classical music selections are good. I don't like Country, Jazz, or Folk music.

Movies:

I enjoy going to the movies and like a wide range of genres. I like comedy, adventure, fantasy, drama and mystery movies. I am not the biggest fan of scary sci-fi movies or horror movies. I like the Chronicles of Riddick, Bridget Jones, The Thirteenth Warrior, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, the Incredibles, LOTR, Life of Brian, Zoolander, Kill Bill, American Beauty, ect.

Television:

I think shows like Survivor and Fear Factor are complete wastes of time. Go and read a book!

Books:

I LOVE historical novels, anything from the Medieval Ages back.
