I am Gimli, son of gloin. i spent my youth in the Blue Mountains west of Eriador.my father Gloin had been one of Bilbo Baggins' companions on the quest to the Lonely Mountain, and i was a member of the Fellowship that accompanied Frodo Baggins on the quest to destroy the One Ring. after the destruction of the one ring i banded together a large group of fellow dwarves from the lonely mountain and became the lord of the glittering caves behind Helm's deep. also after the war, we rebuilt the great city of minas tirith and helms deep out of mithril and steel.*(Here is my family tree, it starts from Durin the VI)
