MY DOG JESUS MERCHANDISE!
I'm a native North Carolinian with ramblin' roots. I moved to Nashville in the summer of 2003. Since moving to Nashville, I have co-written songs with the following people...
BO THOMAS Rising star of country music.
MARTY BROWN Former MCA and HighTone recording artist. Writer of Tracy Byrd's number 1 hit "I'm From The Country (And I Like It That Way).
GREGG CARAWAY He's a Mississippi lawyer, but we won't hold that against him.
RANDALL CLAY Extreme talent in this young guy.
CHARLIE CRAIG . Charlie has over 300 cuts, including at least four number 1's. He wrote most of the songs in the Academy Award-winning Robert Duvall movie "Tender Mercies". He wrote "Wanted" for Alan Jackson, "She's Single Again" for Reba McEntire, "An Old Memory and Me" for Travis Tritt, among many others. Charlie is also an extremely talented producer, and a great guy. You can also find him here .
AL DETROLIO

RUTH GREENWOOD Ruth has several cuts including a song on the television show FAME and a cut by Engelbert Humperdinck (Now thats hip.)
TRENT JEFFCOAT The country singingest son-of-a-gun I know, and a heckuva writer too. Check out his CD "Save Country Music". You can also find Trent here .
ZACH NEIL Canadian honkytonker. Catch him weekends on lower Broadway.
PAULA JO TAYLOR Paula Jo wrote significant portions of Cledus T. Judd's last two records, including "Willie's Got A Big Deck" and "You Play Like Chet".
MIKE WARD Mike was one of the writers on the Moe Bandy classic "Too Old To Die Young".
BILL WARRINGTON My first Nashville co-write.
CJ WATSON
CURTIS WRIGHT Singer/guitarist for both Shenandoah and Pure Prairie League, in addition to being the writer of multiple number 1 country hits.
In the summer of 2007, I got my first independent cut when Jim Van Fleet recorded "The Edge", a song I wrote with Charlie and Marty.
In 2008, a minister in Indiana by the name of Dean Phelps released his third album "Give Us A Tune" which included his version of "My Dog Jesus", a song I wrote with CJ Watson and Al DeTrolio.
My profile pics were taken by my marvelous friend Kat Speer .
She's great! Check her out (and check out her photography, too.)
I just found this video on YouTube. It was recorded on May 7, 2001 at The Cave in beautiful downtown Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I had forgotten all about playing that show...
