In 2005 they all came together through Bertlee (who is cousins with Jay) and have started bangin out track after track together that continuously keep getting better and better. With excellent production from Jay Garced and Sose Platinum, complex lyrics written by Caspa and Bertlee, (as well as an assortment of talented local artists) Dem Jerzey Boyz hope to get their homestate and towns (Ocean Twp. and Long Branch, New Jersey) some shine. While they have recorded songs to already used industry beats that some would argue are better then the actual songs themselves, their true potential and unique style are displayed on the beats produced by Jay Garced. They undoubtedly have a quite different sound than the music out right now, and have been compared to Linkin Park as well as the Beastie Boys. Their style is definitely hip hop yet hints of rock and other genres and influences can be heard in their music. DJB is definitely not your average rap group, and the lyrical content of their songs inspire hope and touch on many issues which people of every race and class can relate to. The Rappin is top notch, the beats are hot, the production is tight, and the moment is right. Straight outta New Jersey these kids are gonna be heard worldwide soon enough, this is just the very beginning. Their First album "Contents Under Pressure" will most likely be dropping sometime in 2007. The Garden State has produced the next generation of great hip hoppers. Don't say nobody told you..
