Indie music minus the pretension
How To Be An Indie Kid (R.I.P.) was a radio show on SYN 90.7. And, once a month we put on INDIE PARTIES to celebrate all things Indie! We also had a night called BROUHAHA! which was at Ding Dong Lounge & at The Rob Roy Hotel.
Our latest, biggest & final project was the HOW TO BE AN INDIE KID FESTIVAL! It was 2 stages and all-ages at The Northcote Town Hall (189 High St) on July 30th and EVERYONE played! The Hovercrafts, The Kissingers, Death Mattel, Jane Vs World, Skybombers, Go You Huskies, Tic Toc Tokyo, The Huxleys, The Wellingtons, Laura Knight, The Raylenes and Gigantic! How rad was it?! Very.

HOW TO BE AN INDIE KID is a indie radio-zine show for all indie kids, coolsie chats and music dorks (we don't discriminate here).
We play great music and provide insight on to how to be the coolest kid on the block. Over the course of the show you would have learned:
How to dress like an indie kid
How to talk the talk of an indie kid
How to pose like an indie kid
How to dance like an indie kid
And even...
How to shag like an indie kid
