The Sound!Pop/Rock! Think The Killers, or Duran Duran on Acid!Background!A few years ago TankEngine played its first gig at a birthday party. Since then the band has played numerous bars, indie dives, and a few music festivals of up to 20,000 people. They have become experienced players and thrive on playing to live audiences.TankEngines live gigs are energetic and captivating. Clapham Grand, Dublin Castle, Hope and Anchor, the Half Moon, and many others are some of the venues they have preformed at.Records!For winning a major songwriting competition, TankEngine were given a bucket load of money. This was invested in recording a 14-song debut album (yet released). Since then TankEngine have written and recorded some great new material that they are very enthusiastic about.Air Waves!TankEngine can and have been heard as part of a BBC radio show one world service, as no. 2 on the UK mp3.co.uk charts, as no1 in New Zealand indie charts with the song Revolution 7, and on TV drama Holby City,Contact!!
