A man's maturity....consists in having found again the seriousness one had as a child, at play.

About Me

I'm ambling around on my patch of Earth trying to enjoy things as they come, trying to dream while being realistic enough to survive - isn't easy. I work as a branch manager of the Athens Check 'N Go - really easy work that allows me time to think, write, and read a little - can't complain too much about that. I am the father of a terribly brilliant three year old daughter - who apparently is an expert tracker - last time I was outside with her she noticed deer tracks and had to point them out to me, as I didn't notice them...seriously. I try to enjoy as many of the simple things in life as I can - that way I never find myself bored. Yeah...I guess that's a start. p.s - Latest crazy smart thing my daughter did: Busted out the word 'chrysalis' when talking about butterflies and caterpillars.

My Interests

My daugther - Gwynnie, reading, music, friends, tequila, conquering Spain, potato farming, the art of pinata, the occasional FFXI, walking/hiking, pretty much anything else if properly motivated p.s. - I love salt and vinegar chips

I'd like to meet:

no one in particular.

Also in no particular order, Cowboy Bebop, Scrubs, Futurama, Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Samurai Champloo, Family Guy too I guess, although I refuse to pay for cable and don't watch T.V. except for maybe once every two months if I happen to be over at a friend's.

My Blog

Hmmm...

Why is it that we're all after essentially the same things in life....but there is so much disagreement on the specifics?    p.s.  What the hell is enthralled.  Really? ...

A Brief Synopsis

I have been thinking a lot lately, despite the lack of posts.  Although, most of the thought I think I will keep for myself.  "One does not love one's insights anymore once they are revealed...

Thanksgiving Porn

So, I was thinking today that I should corner the market on the undeveloped realm of Thanksgiving themed porn.  My name would be Cranberry Sauce.  I seriously think I have something here.&nb...

This weekend was definitely a blast for a multitude of reasons.  Got to see a bunch of people that I don't see nearly often enough.  Had enough to drink by 8, including splitting a pitcher o...

White over Red

Aye, but here we blame in the sight of our strength, not from our weakness of self-doubt.  (Pity is a dangerous weapon).  The feel of defeat, knowing that hardness one tried to soothe, wasn'...

Long while?  I've had three sex changes in the time since we've talked last.  Not for any real reason.  Just woke up one morning thinking "What sex haven't I been?"...... No, that didn'...
