Maggie

Hola! My name is Maggie or Elle, since my name crisis in Spain, and I'm currently living in Madrid, Spain. I grew up in Connecticut, went to school in Ohio, and lived in Maryland for 3 years before moving to Boston in June 2005. I just moved to Spain at the beginning of July 2007. I'm a total klutz (i.e. spraining my ankle when I slipped on ice and fell down three stairs at work and then proceeded to sprain the other one at the beach a little over a month after finishing physical therapy for the first one). People tell me I'm cynical, but really I'm a hopeless romantic, who wishes the world could be a better place. I've moved about 7 times in the last five years (just couldn't find the right apartment I guess). I hate saving money, but I love spending it. I like watching the news, but it usually just pisses me off. I love to go out, but am just as happy watching movies drinking Amstel. I love sleeping especially sleeping in on the weekend, and I swear if I didn't have an alarm, I'd sleep forever (never got over the mono). People say I can be abrasive, but wouldn't you rather know what I think than have me beat around the bush? Yet I'm still more brutally honest with myself than with other people. Oh, and I love calling people douche bags!
