About Me

I am a 27 year old healer and freelance writer in the Los Angeles area. In 2002, I had a spiritual awakening where I realized that I had psychic abilities and that I could see beings of light. I already had studied a little bit about astrology and tarot, but my awareness deepened after I opened to my intuition. For a while, I did readings and then I shifted focus to doing healings and studying about energetic healing. In 2003, I discovered a form of healing called Reiki and then I became a Reiki Master and a Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing Master in 2004. In 2005, I joined the Universal Life Ministry. More recently, I have assisted on a spiritual tour of Sedona, AZ and in October of 2006, I will be assisting on a tour of the Celtic Isles (Britain is my favorite place in the world so far).
When we enter this world, we each carry a special gift. My gift to the world is my belief in love. I love love. My writings, my healings, my spiritual counseling mostly focuses on love. Many of my greatest dreams are related to helping others find their divine mate and toward developing healthy, loving, spiritual relationships. I think that this is why God told my mom to name me Venus Angelic (pronounced like Angelique--what can I say, my mom was pregnant in the 70's)! LOL. As they say, God doesn't make mistakes!
I am now using my healing and spiritual abilites in a more public way. I started my healing website: www.venusopenshearts.com. It is still a work in progress, but it is my way of using these healing gifts to help people with their relationships. If you want to know more about this, e-mail me.
Creativity is my life and I love thinking of, reading, and watching stories. Actresses I would love to meet: Lucy Lawless (I was a big Xena fan in the 90's), Kate Winslet, Sandra Bullock (she's just so down to earth), Goldie Hawn (she seems fun and spiritual)

Actors I would enjoy meeting: Leonardo DiCaprio (I love him! He's a good actor, dedicated to the environment, and a cutie), Chris Rock (he's just too funny...did you see Bigger & Blacker?), Jamie Foxx (he just seems fun like you could have a good conversation with him), James Franco (I met him once during our freshman orientation in college and would love to see him again--he was as cute then as now)

Musicians: Robbie Williams (he's hilarious, absurd, and very naughty), Paula Cole, Sarah McLachlan, India Arie, Jill Scott (she seems very fun, sharp, and intelligent)
