Hmm - first and foremost (always) I'm a dad to two wonderful boys - Jimmy, 3 1/2 going on 6, and Johnny, 2 going on stubbornest child on the face of the earth ;). I know that all parents say this, but these two really are the cutest and smartest of all the kids in the world... ;) If you don't believe me, check out the pics in my pictures area, and the ones in my wife's picture area (she's Andy, and she'd better be at the #1 spot in my Top Friends list down below... ..).
OK, so more - I'm a software engineer at Intel, with the Ultra Mobile Group - just joined Intel in July (of 2008), and I'm really loving it... :)
I also love music - I play piano, trumpet, and baritone. I mostly play piano at home, when I get the chance (not too often with 2 boys to run around after and wrestle with), and I play the brass instruments in an all-brass group that I'm the newest member of (1 year and counting!) called The Valley Brass. We do decent, for 6 guys getting together once a week and just playing stuff.
So, what else, hmm. I'm anti-Bush, anti-war-in-Iraq, pro-troops, anti-Republican, swing both ways on varying Democratic views, I think it's a load of complete crap that we've been forced down to essentially 2 political parties in this country - the closest alignment of views I have with any party is with the Independents.
I also enjoy alot of other things that most people enjoy - (obviously) computers, gaming (board and computer), sports (I used to be fairly decent at basketball, and for about 6 months out of the year I play volleyball 2-3 times a month, and I'd like to think I'm occasionally decent at that... Height helps), fast cars (but not the freaking stupid ricers of these young whipper-snappers today, by golly) - I like *real* muscle in a car - give me a '71 Dodge Hemi Charger, Quaker hood - please! Someone?! Oh well... ;)
Anyway, I've rambled on far too long - if anyone is actually still reading this by now, I either feel cared about, or a little creeped out - not sure which one. Maybe some of both... ..
Oh yeah - check out Muse - their music kicks a massive, massive amount of ass...
