Molly van Dijk

Oh yes!

About Me

"All-out, cock shaking rock 'n roll. Molly knows how to party."
-Matt McAuley, mixtape extraordinaire.
"Firstly it's pronounced Molly van Dyke, NOT Molly van Dij-ik.
It may or may not have been me who made this mistake in the first place, but frankly it's not important. Geez not like I'm part Dutch or nuthin' (if I could insert a guilty looking emoticon in this zine I'd probably do so now.)
ANYway the real point is we like Molly. We do.
She has the only red acoustic guitar I've ever seen(yes, I lead a sad life), her hair = nifty, her hippy dresses, well i'm jealous.
Of course these are all outward apparances and it must be said, she presents herself well. Sortof classy right?
As for her music I shall say now, it's not for everyone. Particularly the many gangsters, teenyboppers and angsty teenagers in this city.
However, isn't that what's so appealing about all indie music? I for one get soooo sick of having to hang round teenyboppers at gigs and although moshing has it's own specific appeal, sometimes all you want to do is apperciate a melody simply by sitting down with a coffee and the freedom of not having to worry about your eardrums exploding.
And hey, she never gets nervous so you don't gotta worry about her messing up a show =)"
-Kari, Outtathaway! zine.
"your singing is perfect!
Your guitar playing in perfect!
You're perfect!"
