BLNT - The Webcomic Series

An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity. A pessimist finds a calamity in every opportunity

About Me

I am a high school technology teacher with a strong desire to infect as many teenagers with the love of technology and the ability to use the knowledge they attain to be as artistic and creative as possible!
About the writer and illustrator? Just two things:
1) Do NOT arrest this man!
-AND-
2) Don't leave your reptile around me true player fo' real!
Ahem, but seriously...NOW I have a pic in here! To all my students, stop squeezing my shoes about it
I'm pretty nice with ADOBE CS, MACROMEDIA, and 2D/3D CAD!
Yep! BLNT is finally on, crunk, poppin' and crackin' - Check for new EPISODES every Monday and Wednesday/Early Thursday in my blog .

Also, I am an independent company in the business of design. What KIND of design? Well...stuff. Not just graphic/engineering/web design - I also write and create music. Hence the title "Vociferous Creative Designs" - It's the gamut of digital/physical/print design. Having a banner year - I've created FOUR CD covers for independent artist and ONE book cover - and of course, my comic strip...I guess you can say I'm a bit of a renaissance type. My kids (Featured as friends below) - know me well enough to understand that - I like to write plays...Christian plays...Plays which carry a message that begs deep thought. Perhaps I'll feature that work here as well.
My OTHER kids, my students, seem to believe MYSPACE is truly all about gettin' at someone or gettin' with someone - Nope...I'm truly on here to network and connect with others on an intellectual and creative plane - Though I'm sure nothing makes my students more happier than "puttin' me on blast" at school about trollin' around the MYSPACE universe - Perhaps they'll even accuse me of "frontin'" on the "artistic/intellectual" tip. Yet I assure you all, that is indeed why I'm here...
To my students though...at least I'm learning what someone of you are like OUTSIDE the classroom - Your MYSPACE speaks volumes. Yeah...I'm probably learning a bit too much about y'all.
-Your music tastes...
-The grammar skills you seem to keep IN the classroom once you leave the school...
-Um...your affinity for the middle finger.
Yeah, strange times there...On the reals, I like staying in touch with young people because it is my God-given passion to take an interest in their lives and make a positive impact. When I die, it will be quite a legacy to turn around and look upon with pride and a great deal of humbleness - ironically speaking.
My biggest shout out goes to my "daughter", BADDKITTY (LIZ)...You are indeed my daughter from another mother (Can I even SAY that???) - Anyway, YOU ARE MY CHILD - I do love you, I'm just a bit concerned about your strange pictures. VERY concerned. That's my baby girl, right der!
ALEX, you need Jesus, son - The power of Christ compels you! Get that curse word out of your myspace name and start wearing pastels! You cannot go through life as a mock vampire bringing gloom and doom everywhere you go - I don't care what that song says...There is no such thing as a black parade - you're a walking testimony of LIFE RENEWED - Think about that. And please....EAT SOMETHING! ANYTHING!
Well then...Onward and upward. Peace, be with you all.
I created my own myspace layout using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

My Interests

Movies! Especially indie films, art, computers/technology (DUH!), music (particularly jazz or R&B), I also enjoy hip-hop - Pre-TuPac's death hip-hop especially. It is my goal to find out what happened to the following hip-hop artists:

-Redhead Kingpin (And perhaps, the FBI)

-Da Youngstas

-World Renown (I'm STILL waiting to be added to your friends list now that I've found you)

-Al B. Sure (Seriously, where is this guy)

More names to come later...

I'd like to meet:

I had to think about this LONG and HARD...WHO would I like to meet - This list will change week to week:

-God/Jesus (Who WOULDN'T want to meet him? Them...Of course, I don't want to meet them in a "Wanna meet your maker" sort of way. This is a disclaimer that anyone who reads this does not attempt a ONE-EIGHT-SEVEN on me) - There are many things I'd actually love for them to clear up for me.

-George "Dubya" Bush (I want to quote what a student at my school would ask if she could ask ONE question of the Commander-In-Chief - And I quote... "How DO you sleep at night?" - Peace to Misty)

-Dr. Cornel West (Or take at least ONE class or see a lecture by him).

-Aaron McGruder (You. Are. A. Genuis.)

-Chuck D. (Hey, y'know what - I've got so much trouble on my mind too! Let's hook up and talk about it! Tacos?)

-Samuel L. Jackson (Has ANYONE seen him in THE RED VIOLIN??? ANYONE???)

-Dianne Reeves (Much of your music got me through good and bad times - Keep singing that sweet music)

-MF Doom (Where the heck do you come up with that stuff??? Kookies??? Mastermind!)

Last one for now...

-The Apostle Paul (You really do have a lot of explaining to do - We'll start with the letter to Thessalonica and work our way down...)
