this is a space pixie friend who appears every now and then.
his name is brenton.
sometimes he wears geraniums in his hair.childhood: Collected skies

There's a quite delectable and hefty info about it all www.insurgencynema.org if thy so be interested. This year has been massive - went to Canada, Montana & San Francisco in the summer, did Honours, travelled around bits of Oz for festivals and enviro activism - Students of Sustainability roadtrip to Perth in a Minibus of 10 randoms across the Nullaboor, Byron Bay, Vic Forests, underground world of Melbourne (literally) whilst trying to juggle activism, and my freelance business INK ORCHESTRA. Oh yeah and I walked 100kms through the desert north of Port Augusta with the Sacred Life Walk 2007 Peace Pilgrimage led by Indigenous Elder Aunty Sue Rankin. This has changed my life forever. Don't forget your rhythm in nature its what i always seem to lose and rediscover its what keeps us alive.Right now I am chilling the fuck out hanging out with my pens and textas and letting my little weird spirit animals appear on my page, going to festivals... eating well, drinking ginger wine from teapots you know how it is. Im getting into facepainting. The strange and magical world of puppets and masks. Check out Jan Svankmajer films and animation.A paintbrush (coloured pencil these days) is my walking stick ... The power of youth culture astounds me. So does the power of ignorance. The world is full of educated derelicts, I’d like to think I am not one of them. Wilson’s Prom is my happy place. I like pickles and sarspiralla. I’ve backpacked through Thailand & Vietnam, treked in the north Vietnamese mountains near Chinese border among hilltribes, and consequently suffered the atrosities of giardia. Homeland is the rocky mountains of Montana where the crows laugh and the deer scatter. East Coast Blues n Roots Festival, bush doofs, gypsie bands with no power under bridges, markets, dumpsters, organic biodynamic & vegetarianism , messages in bottles, Devendrah Banhart, my local pub The Espy, Ed Templeton, Loohole Community Center, Squat Parties, southern sassafras trees (east gippy survived 2 ice ages), Radiohead, Hot Hot Heat, The Cure, Robert Nesta Marley, birds, animal totem: CROW, OWL, SNAKE, Basquiat, anarchism, eco-feminism, Yoko Ono, dub & reggae, Japanese paint brushes, Air, Mexican art, snowboarding, lost photo albums, vinyls, candles, legless bbqs on the beach, tree climbing blockading, activism, guerilla solar powered projector screenings, DIY & self publishing, pianola rolls, seakayaking, patterns & diagrams, Micheal Leon, grassroots stuff, traditionally brewed chai tea, watching films when the sun comes up, Led Zeppelin, Architecture in Helsinki gigs, avocado and vegemite on toast, mutiny, Barons of Tang shows, festivals like Rennaissance.... Whilst the hills are alive with the sounds of chainsaws, and the streets are alive with the sound of happily shuffling pixie shoes (dying to the beat of the stock exchange machino suits), I am alive with the sound of whistling bamboo, humming Imacs, sketching pencils and crackled speakers. and the fire in my belly.
