The Good Life

About Me

For those who've just caught up with me recently, I'm the same guy you knew before; just older, wiser, and now engaged to be married. For those who are new to me, read below:I'm a thinker (pretty logical I think) first, a talker second. My sense of humor is a dominant trait. I'm light hearted in that sense. I'm someone who's fun to be around. People can come to me when they need to talk about various things because I'm a good voice of reason.....and I have lots of patience.Pretty athletic (basketball, tennis, football)..... Who's tryin' to see me?? (ok then)I enjoy (1) spending quality time with my fiancee and (2) hanging with my friends & family.Eventually I want to get into coaching youth basketball and maybe at the high school level later on.I could see myself teaching in the future (I'm an accountant...I think I can explain the subject to others easily enough).I'm full of many ideas.......Shout out to Temple alumni and currentsGet out there and live your life.Peace

My Interests

Music, movies, sports, traveling, computers, cars...

I'd like to meet:

Deceased relatives whom I never got the chance to meet. As far as celebs, Mary J. Blige, The Neptunes, Dave Chappelle...

Music:

R&B, Rap, Jazz. A little bit of everything for the most part. But the ones mentioned are my main ones. Besides listening to music, I like making (or at least trying to make) music. This includes the actual musical element as well as songwriting.

Movies:

Comedies are my favorite. Also like action flicks & good dramas. Liked horror movies when they used to make good ones. Some of my favorite movies include Boomerang, Kingpin, & Die Hard with a Vengeance.

Television:

Definitely not a reality TV junkie (the Apprentice is pretty much the only one). Love HBO programs like The Wire, The Sopranos, Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm. And sports of course!!

Books:

The Bible

Heroes:

My Parents

My Blog

Sports Talk

This is nothing new, but it was on my mind today. One of my favorite things about talking sports with people is that you see who really knows what they're talking about vs. those who just recycle what...

On my way home...

On my way home from work today, I had the pleasure of riding the bus home. I already knew this, but reinforced was the idea of how ignorant our young people are. As pointed out by a woman on the bus: ...

On blogs...

I have to take these first couple of lines to call out Sara (see Friends List) for not starting her blog page (I know I'm gonna hear it!!) I think now she will have no choice but to do so. Anyway, ...
