Classic rock from the 60s and the 70s: Cream, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane (not Starship!), the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Bread, etc., etc. Alternative rock (the acoustic kind), and just about anything played on Morning Becomes Eclectic. Wagner's Ring Cycle.
Movies:
I'm a sucker for any type of movie with a good romance: the Big Blue, the English Patient, Hero, Brokeback Mountain. Love martial arts, tearjerkers and humor. Certain cheesy movies warrant a mention - hello, GalaxyQuest!
Television:
CSI, both New York and Las Vegas. Numbers, because I an fascinated with people that are good in math (pesonally sucked at it, myself). Weeds, Gray's Anatomy.
Books:
Anything by Elliot Pattison, Michael Connolley, Arturo Perez-Reverte, Mary Stewart.
