Having a beer with mates, socialising, partying, meeting new people - making them laugh, reading, learning new stuff, philosophising, trying to rationally understand complex human affairs, taking it easy and watching comedy films!
I'd like to meet anyone with my taste of music!! And anyone else who's mellow, with broad horizons, an energetic interest about life and generally chilled out.

Anything really, whatever takes my mood. NOT horror movies though lol. I watched one of them and passed out while under the influence! It kinda revolved around this dude having his arm cut off - for it to be replaced by this bionic arm. Totally horrified me ha ha. Never again :-)Oh yeah I watched "In the Mouth of Madness" once and I didn't even get past the opening score. Hehe.

Last book : "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" by Tom Wolfe omg absolutely amazing. I can't recommend this enough, if reading about hippies taking drugs, expanding their minds and listening to experimental rock music is your thing. Oh and more recently: "Cannery Row" by John Steinbeck, it's not too long so you can read it in one sitting (always a bonus). Synopsis: 1930s America, Monterey, Cheapsville. Lee Chong (a convenient store owner), inherits a warehouse after the previous owner kills himself. The plot then introduces the reader to the local hobos, winos and general layabouts, when they catch wind of Chong's recent windfall and emotionally blackmail him into leasing the warehouse as their new living quarters, with absolutely no intention of paying him back. The way they haggle with frogs as a monetary system is not only funny but ingenious. It's from this warehouse (or the "Flophouse Palace") where they get horrendously drunk and hatch their well-meaning but ultimately flawed schemes onto the public, notably the devil-esque, goateed Doc and the workers of the local whorehouse. The story ends with a happy yet all-too-brief ending. I'd give it a 4stars on a good day, imaginative and engaging but a bit random in places. Another book review to come :-)
Interesting quotations:
Success is relative. It is what we can make of the mess we have made of things.
T. S. Eliot (1888 - 1965)
My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all.
John Lennon (1940 - 1980)
"This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness." Dalia Lama (1945 - )
"Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and happiness to life and to everything." Plato (428/427 - 348/347 BC)
