Gracing the airwaves with their latest single release “Be So Quiet,†Sense of Reverence is making their not so quiet remarks to the world. Combining multiple musical backgrounds (hardcore, melodic, southern, and even classical) this band is sure to bring a sense of uniqueness to the listener’s ear. Sense of Reverence came out of a love of music between two good friends [Drummer] Lucas and [Song Writer/Singer/Guitar] Jeremy Mang. With the addition of good friend Nicholas Golder at bass the trio began performing and touring live across the Midwest in the summer of 2007.
Sense of Reverence, discovered at a band showcase by producer Mark Pay [Jon Mclaughlin, Leah Ashton] soon recorded their first self titled 6 track E.P. Gaining air play the band was once again thrown on the road to hit cities like Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Dayton, Chillicothe and on… and on…
---“Local Rockers Flirting with Rock Stardomâ€--– Ryan Trares of “The Times†stated in Regards to their 2008 Tour. At this point the band has shared the stage with such acts as, Fireflight, Skillet, Chiodos, Kids in the Way, and Spoken. Most noted about live performances is the band’s ability to take ownership of any venue while maintaining an air of sincere humility. Beginning and ending every show with a sincere message that “They are nothing,†Sense of Reverence instills just that, a sense that we are not the center of the world… nor the center of our own worlds… we are nothing but imperfect depictions of a perfect creator.
Sense of Reverence is nothing.
