According to my parents, I was conceived on a beach in Canada, in the moonlight. And was born with a maple leaf shaped strawberry mark on my bum! LOL! (and no you can't see it, it's gone now!) I am about 99% Scottish, and very proud of it too! My family descends from the Rennie, MacDonald, Fyfe, and Simpson Clans. I was raised both in Williamsville, New York, and in my dear Northern California. I consider myself a Democrat, yet will vote for an individual when he/she shares my views on issues which I consider vital for the common good of all Americans, and the other Human Beings we SHARE this planet with. As you have probably already read here, I am deeply devoted to paying it forward. I believe in second chances, I believe in loving with all my heart, and I believe very strongly in understanding that there are many different cultures in our world, that we cannot logically expect each of these cultures to desire to conform to our culture, our political system, or our religious beliefs. I believe that the more we attempt to force other cultures to be like us, the more we are insulting them, and ourselves. I believe that the more we try to force other cultures to conform to our ways, the more we are inciting war, death, destruction, hatred and prejudice.
PEACE AND ACCEPTANCE, UNDERSTANDING AND COMPASSION, these are the types of behaviors that can change the World for the better!! And last, but certainly NOT least...please remember the Golden Rule. :) OK OK enough serious talk for one evening..just sit back, relax, and enjoy the movie! :)
