born and raised in honolulu, oahu, hawaii - after i graduated from the university of hawaii at manoa - went off to san diego, sequoia national park, washington, d.c., yosemite national park, and have now been in the city of angels (los angeles) in golden state of california for nearly twenty years. . .while in l.a. i first worked as a chef concierge in the hotel industry then worked on a national study for the u.s. conference of mayors then went to an east los angeles health clinic and on to project angel food then to east west players and now raise money for a charity called search to involve pilipino americans where we run an afterschool program, case management and counseling, develop affordable housing, and provide small business counseling. . .i also volunteer and am very active in community work with the gay asian pacific support network and other LGBT and API stuff. . .
