-extraordinary amalgamations and juxtapositions, such as salsa+celtic
-....extraordinary anything
-road tripping
-tripping in general, especially when followed by falling down, preferably when someone is watching
-linguistic mastery and effortless articulation
-trees
-languages other than english
-non-verbal communication
-unconditional love AKA true love
-sunshine
-moonshine
-making english do things it normally wouldn't do
-the urge to jump that always seems to accompany sufficient proximity to a precipice
-beer
-food
-wine
-snuggling
-fire, preferably of the camp- or -place variety
-celestial phenomena
-impromptu everything
-death

-inclement weather

-slippers
-mountain men/women: the styles, exploits, undertakings, skills, and wisdoms of mountain folk

-general advancement of humans as a species; deciphering the reasons for our being bestowed with the capacity for abstract thought and imagination if all we're going to do with it is make more people and build and manufacture more and more stuff....
