This man is my hero and inspiration <3
My name is Em, I’m 17 years old and I live/breathe/sleep motorbikes. I love taking people’s preconceptions about something and turning them on their fucking head....I am a girl, I am a biker (on my own bike I must add, not on the back of a boyfriend or something gay like that) and I am going to be a Crew Chief in motorbike racing. Confuse/upset you? Fucking deal with it ‘cuz that’s who I am.
I adore motorcycling, it is my passion :] I can never explain what it means to me, I can never find the right words to express that feeling inside my stomach when I’m out on the roads, watching a race or talking to a rider I respect. It’s my world, and I don’t know what I’d ever do if it was taken away from me. The biking community is something I’m so proud to be a part of...acknowledging every other biker on the road (except miserable Harleys!), smiling at a complete stranger ‘cuz they’re wearing a biking tee...it’s something that you’ll never find anywhere else, the allegiance you can form with someone you don’t even know. It’s indescribable.
Spending time with racers and people involved in racing is something which I am fortunate enough to get to do quite a lot of the time, and I am so grateful for it. Getting to hang out with my heroes is simply awesome, nothing in the world compares to it. Getting to know racers is something which means a lot to me, I find it really interesting to talk to them and find out about their lives :) It means that when you’re watching them racing you almost can relate to them more...or you want them to succeed ‘cuz you kind of know them. And it doesn’t matter if people say they forget you straight away, I know the ones that matter remember me :]
I used to think about my future way too much – I used to worry that if I didn’t do something one day then it’d catch up on me another....but now I just think that when you’re worrying about tomorrow, you ain’t living today. Whatever happens happens, I just hope I can achieve my dreams. I know my future will involve motorcycling in some form, which is all I care about knowing :)
There’s nothing much else interesting to know about me, and I shall cease my biking ramblings now. Drop by and leave a comment, I don’t bite ^_^
I love Emilie because..... :]
